Licence fee changes from 1 July 2026
Licence fees will change from 1 July 2026.
What you pay depends on when you apply, renew, generate an invoice, or make payment.

I am renewing a licence
You will pay the current fee if:
- your renewal date is before 1 June 2026, and
- you pay or generate your invoice anytime
You will pay the new fee if:
- your renewal date is on or after 1 June 2026
I am applying for a new licence
You will pay the current fee if:
- you apply for a licence before 1 July 2026, and
- you complete payment or generate your invoice before 1 July 2026
You will pay the new fee if:
- you apply before 1 July 2026, but do not complete payment or generate your invoice before 1 July 2026, or
- you apply on or after 1 July 2026
What this means for you
If your application, renewal, and payment are completed before 1 July 2026, the current fee applies.
If your application, renewal, or payment is completed on or after 1 July 2026, the new fee may apply.
New licence fees from 1 July 2026
The table below shows the new licence fees that will apply from 1 July 2026. Fees are GST inclusive.
