Future allocations of 2300 MHz & 2600 MHz spectrum
The Government has agreed to largely renew existing Management Rights in 2300 MHz and 2600 MHz. However, some spectrum will be reallocated through direct offers and auctions to balance the need for investment certainty for service continuity and enabling competition to meet long term connectivity needs.

Assignment of 3340–3460 MHz Radio Spectrum
RSM is seeking feedback on the proposed approaches to make the 3340–3460 MHz frequency band available for potential use by regional broadband/fixed wireless access, private networks and mobile systems.

Future use of the 600 MHz spectrum (paused and not active)
Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) has undertaken initial technical work on the future use of 600 MHz. Further work on 600 MHz is now paused and will be picked up at a later stage, with no substantive activities planned for the next few years.

Future use of the 24–30 GHz spectrum
Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) is considering the best value use of radio spectrum from 24–30 GHz. High level allocation decisions have now been made, with a programme of work underway to make this spectrum available to the market in 2026.

Fees review 2025
For the last 8 years, annual licence fees have been set lower than the actual cost to manage the radio spectrum regulatory system, due to a historic surplus. Now the surplus is almost gone, it is time to adjust the fees to ensure the system fully recovers costs.

AM/FM radio spectrum: 2031 expiry of licences and potential reassignment
AM/FM licences are due to expire in 2031, and renewal is in progress.
