Auction 23 for FM sound broadcasting spectrum licences
Details for the auction of five FM sound broadcasting spectrum licences have been announced following an expression of interest process.
The licence details are:
- Grampians (Nelson City) 106.4 MHz, licence number 290092(external link), reserve price: $47,205 incl. GST.
- Otematata (Waitaki District) 94.9 MHz, licence number 290090(external link), reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST.
- Otematata (Waitaki District) 106.1 MHz, licence number 290091(external link), reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST.
- 83 Main Street Fairlie (Mackenzie District) 106.2 MHz, licence number 290089(external link), reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST.
- Mt Michael (Mackenzie District) 97.4 MHz, licence number 290134(external link), reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST.
Auction 23 will be managed by Skylarc with the licences sold on the Trade Me website. The auction will start on 4 August 2021 and run for seven days until 11 August 2021.
The term of each licence is valid until 2 April 2031 provided the successful party meets the implementation criteria.
