RSM is seeking feedback on a technical discussion document to better understand the current and future uses and preferred assignment approaches for the 3340–3460 MHz band.
RSM has released a discussion document to better understand the current and future uses and preferred assignment approaches for the 3340–3460 MHz band. Submissions are due by 5pm on 26 August 2026.
Before we progress the assignment of 3340–3460 MHz we are seeking feedback on the following technical issues:
- Key use cases and spectrum requirements for different radio services in the 3340–3460 MHz frequency band.
- Technical options for the 3340–3460 MHz frequency band, including options for sharing spectrum between regional broadband and private mobile networks.
- Applicable technical parameters for new usage.
- Spectrum resource charging for regional broadband and private mobile networks.
