Why compliance matters
New Zealand’s product compliance framework helps manage the risk of interference to the radio spectrum. As a supplier, it’s important that you make sure your products meet the standards set out in the framework.
Steps to compliance
There are 7 steps you need to follow to make sure your products comply with the regulations and can legally be supplied in New Zealand. You must complete each step for any product you want to supply.
Each year a sample group of product suppliers are audited for compliance. Your products must meet the performance standards and licence requirements for radio in New Zealand.
