Auction of sound broadcasting spectrum licences
Details for the auction of four FM sound broadcasting spectrum licences have been announced following an expression of interest process. The licence details are:
- Mt Stuart (Clutha District) 104.9 MHz, licence number 278146, reserve price: $3,807 incl. GST.
- Richardson Road (Gore District) 104.0 MHz, licence number 278147, reserve price: $6,558 incl. GST.
- Hilltop (Christchurch City) 100.7 MHz, licence number 278148, reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST.
- Lyttelton (Christchurch City) 105.3 MHz, licence number 278149, reserve price: $2,851 incl. GST.
Auction 22 will be managed by Skylarc with the licences sold on the Trade Me website. The auction will start on 21 October 2020 and run for seven days until 28 October 2020.
The term of each licence is valid until 2 April 2031 provided the successful party meets the implementation criteria.
