For suppliers of electrical and radio products
To register for a Supplier Number complete a Responsible Supplier registration form.
To certify that a product meets all compliance requirements including applicable standards and appropriate frequencies, complete a Supplier Declaration of Conformity form (SDoC).
For suppliers of radio transmitters
If you are a supplier of radio transmitting equipment in New Zealand you must hold a Licence to Supply Radio Transmitters.
The Licence to Supply Radio Transmitters allows the supply, importation for supply, (or resupply) by way of sale, exchange, lease, hire or hire-purchase of radio transmitters, in the course of business. It does not allow the Licensee to conduct radio communications.
A Licence to Supply Radio Transmitters is issued under the Radiocommunications Act 1989 (‘the Act’) and the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001 (‘the Regulations’).
