Become a user of the Register

What is the Register of Radio Frequencies (the Register)?

The Register is Radio Spectrum Management's (RSM) online system that enables online applications, licence cancellations, fee payments, independent engineering of licences and searching of the Register of Radio Frequencies.
 

To apply for a licence in the Register you must be a registered client.

If you've had a licence in the past, you may be an existing client. You can either;
  1. search for your client record in the Register or
  2. contact the Business Service Centre on 0508 RSM INFO (776 463) or info@rsm.govt.nz

You can apply online yourself or employ an RSM approved person to apply on your behalf.

Do you have a User Name and Password? Yes
No
To obtain a User Name and Password you need to request an activation code.
Go to rsm.govt.nz/the-register and LOGON with your User Name and Password. Select the Create Licence Application icon on the home page, and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can either;
  1. complete one of the client request forms below;
  2. contact an RSM approved person; or
  3. contact the Business Service Centre on 0508 RSM INFO (776 463) or info@rsm.govt.nz
