VHF radio microphone devices

There are three general user spectrum licences that cover the operation of radio transmitting equipment used for radio microphones, also known as wireless microphones, in ear monitors, or audio transmitters in the VHF band.

This licence expires on 30 Sept 2019, as part of the work of the review of options for use of the 174 – 230 MHz band.

There are some parts of the General User Radio Licence for Short Range Devices that also permit radio microphone usage in the VHF range.
