Pay annual licence fees for new or existing licences

Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) collects annual fees for licences to recover the costs associated with administering the Radiocommunications Act 1989.

In addition, spectrum licences may require payment of a separate resource fee. This depends on the policy criteria under which a licence can be offered.

There are 2 situations when paying annual licence fees:

  • New licences - these fees are for new licences not yet granted/registered
  • Licence renewal - these fees are payable each year to renew your current licence(s)

Note: Before a radio or spectrum licence can be granted or registered, the licence holder must pay in full the annual fee associated with their licence(s).
