Responsible Supplier registration

Will I need to register on the database to use the RCM or R-NZ?

Yes. A supplier who intends to supply devices that are required to be labelled with the RCM or the R-NZ must register on the database. Only one registration is allowed for each supplier.

 

I am currently registered on the Radio Spectrum Management supplier database. Will I need to register on the new database?

Yes, before the end of the transition period. The data from the supplier database will not be migrated to the new database. A supplier who intends to supply devices that are required to be labelled must register on the new database before the end of the transition period.

 

Will the Radio Spectrum Management supplier database be available for new registrations during the transition period?

No. The Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) supplier database is not available for new registrations.

 

I am a current supplier. Do I need to register immediately following the commencement date?

No. A supplier who has previously registered with RSM under the C-Tick or supplier code number arrangements and who is continuing to supply devices must register on the new database before the end of the transition period.

 

I am a current supplier. Do I have to wait until the end of the transition period to start using the RCM or R-NZ?

No, you can register on the new database and commence using the RCM or R-NZ at any time during the transition period.

 

I am currently registered on the RSM supplier database but do not intend to place new devices on the market. Will I need to register on the new database?

No.

 

I am an agent for an importer and assume all supplier compliance responsibilities. Am I required to register on the new database?

Yes.
