How to make the website text bigger

If you are having problems viewing the text on rsm.govt.nz you can increase the size of the text displayed on screen.

To change the text size using just your mouse or your keyboard, the following methods work for most browsers:

  • Hold down the control ‘Ctrl’ key and roll the mouse wheel up (toward the screen) to make the text larger or roll the mouse wheel down (away from the screen) to make the text smaller.
  • Hold down the control ‘Ctrl’ key and press the plus ‘+’ key to make the text larger or the minus ‘-’ key to make the text smaller.

Note: For Macs use the Command key (apple key) in place of the Ctrl key.

To change this setting using options from your browser's menu depends on the browser you are using. If you have an older version of a browser you may have to do this differently. Look under the view menu (or similar) for 'Zoom' or 'Increase Text Size'.
