New Zealand Radio Frequency Service Standards

Listed below are old New Zealand developed radio equipment standards that are still in force. They are part of the suite of radio equipment standards that are listed in the Radiocommunications (Radio Standards) Notice.

 

VHF land mobile service radio equipment standard using amplitude modulation (AM)

 

Telecommand and telemetry radio equipment standard using amplitude modulation (AM) or frequency modulation (FM).

Telecommand - is used for the transmission of signals to initiate, modify or terminate functions of equipment at a distance.

Telemetry - is used for automatically indicating or recording measurements at a distance from the measuring instrument.

 

UHF (800 MHz) analogue trunked dispatch service radio equipment standard using angle modulation.

 

VHF and UHF analogue fixed services radio equipment standard using angle modulation.

 

UHF analogue studio-to-transmitter linking system radio equipment standard using angle modulation.
