Digital TV restacking

The broadcast frequencies for Freeview|HD® television channels were changed in nine regions in New Zealand from mid-2011 to mid-2012. Radio Spectrum Management made these changes to ensure that New Zealand is using the radio spectrum as efficiently as possible and to release spectrum for new uses.

These changes meant that affected viewers had to retune their televisions or set-top boxes.
