Spectrum Search Lite
Spectrum Search Lite is a graphical software tool designed to search and display data contained in RSM's Spectrum Management and Registration Technology (SMART) system which is the online Register of Radio Frequencies.
The format of the Spectrum Search Lite database supplied is Microsoft Access 97. The files combine to provide powerful tools for those involved in planning, engineering, using or managing the radio spectrum in New Zealand.
The Spectrum Search Lite database also contains the majority of licence information that is held in SMART. Limited information is available via the Spectrum Search Lite user interface, however, this information can be accessed directly via the MS Access database through queries or interfaces with any user tools.
The Spectrum Search Lite software and database are available for download from the links below. The database is currently refreshed weekly, usually on a Monday, with plans to increase this frequency to daily.
The downloadable training guide also includes instructions for the now decommissioned PRISMS Lite software.
The information contained within the Spectrum Search Lite database is not a complete set of information from the SMART database as there has been some information deliberately withheld. The data provided is current as at the date of the production stated on the opening screen. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment will not be responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information contained in either Spectrum Search Lite or SMART.
