Forgot your SMART password?
If you have forgotten your password to access SMART, you can get SMART to send you a new temporary password automatically. You will need to answer a secret question you identified when you first set up your Username and Password.
Step by step guide
Follow these easy steps to get a new temporary password.
When you have reset your password, you will need to logon to SMART and change your temporary password.
Access SMART and then click [Logon] from the menu bar.
From the Logon screen, click the [Forgot your Password] link.
The Reset My Password screen opens.
Enter your SMART User Name and then click [Submit].
- The User Name is the name you chose to activate your client account
- If you have forgotten your User Name as well, please contact our Business Service Centre on free phone 0508 RSM INFO (0508 776 463).
You are prompted to answer your Secret Question then click [Submit].
You are returned to a blank Logon screen.
A temporary password is sent to your email address. An example of the email is shown in Step 6 below.
Retrieve the email from your email system.
Copy and paste the password into SMART as shown in Step 7 below.
Enter your User Name and new (temporary) Password then click [Logon].
You are prompted to enter a new (permanent) password and confirm before clicking [Submit].
- Passwords are case sensitive. They must be a combination of letters and numbers and at least 7 characters long.
You are returned to your homepage. Choose to continue working in SMART or logoff.
