Licence fees
Radio Spectrum Management collects fees on licences and engineering services to recover the cost of providing these services. The objective is to:
- Continually seek to improve efficiency in the administration of the Act
- Fully recover the costs associated with administering the Act
- Fairly allocate the costs in relation to work undertaken
- Minimise cross-subsidies within and between licence categories
- Manage the memorandum account towards a zero balance.
The licence administration fee is charged annually for current licences. The engineering fee is charged for RSM engineering services for both new licences and re-engineering of existing licences.
Payment of fees can be made online or manually.
