Update on offer documents - 5 April 2005

The documents for the UHF-TV spectrum licence offers have been mailed to licensees on 31 March 2005. These offers are being made in accordance with Cabinet's published policies on UHF-TV licences. Licensees will receive an offer pack containing the terms and conditions of the offer and two attached schedules. The first schedule contains the draft spectrum licence(s) offered and the second schedule contains the response form which must be completed and returned to the Ministry before the close of the offer at 5.00pm on 30 June 2005.

As noted in the update of 24 March 2005, offers will not been made at this stage for licences where the engineering assessment has given the Ministry cause to believe that existing transmissions may not be compliant or for licences used solely for linking purposes. The Ministry will contact the relevant licensees individually to clarify the compliance issues.
