Information for managers of complexes with shared TV aerials
If you manage a building or complex, such as an apartment building, motel or retirement village, that provides Freeview|HD® to residents using a shared common aerial, you should talk to your installer or technician before the changes in your area occur about what you need to do. They will likely need to visit your premises to make some technical changes at the time of the change. In some cases no change will be required but your technician should be able to advise you on this.
Also, if you insert any extra television channels into your system using an RF modulator, you will need to ensure that these channels are not being transmitted on the same frequency as the new broadcast frequency for Freeview|HD®. If you are unsure of what frequency is being used please talk to your installer or technician before the changes in your area occur.
If the residents in your building or complex each have their own television aerials, their televisions with Freeview|HD® built in or Freeview|HD® digital set-top boxes may need to be individually retuned through the onscreen menu. See: How to retune your Freeview|HD® equipment.
