Who does this licence apply to?

Persons or other legal entities that own and operate radio transmitting equipment in the CB/PRS bands.
Users of Citizen Band/Public Radio Service (PRS)
A General User Radio Licence has been granted for the transmission on any frequency specified in the licence by means of radiocommunication transmitters known as "Citizen Band Radio", "CB Radio", "UHF CB Radio" or "Personal Radio Service", in accordance with the terms, conditions, and restrictions of the General User Radio Licence. Users of the specified frequencies do not need to apply for an individual licence, except for PRS repeaters.
Citizen Band/Public Radio Service (PRS) repeaters
PRS repeaters require an individual licence. Application for a licence can be made online or by sending us a completed Radio 2S form [213 kB PDF].
