Applying PIB 34
The Ministry of Economic Development has introduced a policy enabling licence applicants to choose who will perform the engineering certification of their licence application.
Assessing the technical compatibility of a licence with existing licences can be undertaken either by Ministry engineers or by external engineers approved by the Ministry.
There are two categories of external engineers:
- Approved Radio Engineer (ARE) can certify both spectrum and radio licences.
- Approved Radio Certifiers (ARC) can only certify radio licences.
