The types of services are:

It is important to submit the licence application for the correct category. The applicant may be liable to pay the engineering fees if the licence is engineered for the wrong type of service due to incorrect or partial information on the application.

Managed spectrum park

The 2.5 GHz Managed Spectrum Park is designed to facilitate local and regional wireless services, and seeks to encourage a flexible, cooperative, low cost and, as far as possible, self-managed approach to allocation and use of the radio spectrum resource.

Other services

It may be possible to grant a licence in other services for a frequency or frequency band that is not covered by the categories listed above. For such instances an approach should be made to the Radio Spectrum Planning section.
