Prohibited equipment
If electrical products or unlicensed radio products are likely to cause widespread or severe interference to radio reception, a notice prohibiting the installation, use, sale, distribution or manufacture of such products can be gazetted by the Chief Executive under regulation 32(1) of the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001.
Further, if the matter is sufficiently serious the supplier may be required, pursuant to a notice under regulation 36, to recall any product sold and refund the price paid for the product.
Any breach of the following notices is an offence:

Other notices may be gazetted whenever significant risk to the radio spectrum from particular interfering equipment is identified.
