New to SMART?

SMART is Radio Spectrum Management’s online licensing system and allows you to search the Register of Radio Frequencies, apply for a New Zealand radio licence, renew an existing licence or update your client details.

To apply for a licence in SMART you must be a registered user.

If you are new to RSM and never held a licence, either call us on 0508 RSM INFO (0508 776 463) or complete our online form.

We require your name, email and address details to add you as a client in SMART. Once added, you will be emailed an Activation Code to start the process to obtain a secure user name and password of your choice.

If you previously held a radio licence you may Search the Register to see if you are still recorded as a client. If you are in the Register, but do not have a user name and password, then contact us with your Client Number and we will email you an Activation Code to start the process to obtain a secure user name and password of your choice.
