Licensing - land mobile FAQ
How do I modify my land mobile licence, what is the fee payable?
Any modifications to a current land mobile licence must be made on a Radio 2 application form, you may need to include a covering letter to further explain your requirements.
A change in number of sets will not incur an engineering fee, however most other modifications will. You have the choice of requesting that an indendent Approved Radio Engineer or Certifier undertake the engineering certification of your licence modification, a list can be obtained here. These applications will be subject to an annual fee only.
