Voluntary standards
Voluntary standards provide guidance on a variety of matters relating to the manufacture, installation and use of EMC and Radio products.
They may be used by the Ministry to establish a "benchmark" when investigating and resolving instances of radio interference.
Conformity with voluntary standards is strongly recommended as a means of ensuring proper operation of equipment and compatibility with radiocommunication services.
