Summary of compliance requirements

A summary of the EMC compliance requirements for suppliers of electrical and radio products.

Conformity Level 1 (low risk)

• Product must comply with an applicable standard
• Supplier must hold a compliance folder containing a declaration of conformity and product description (Radio Product only)
• Product must be labelled (Radio Product only)

Conformity Level 2 (medium risk)

• Product must comply with an applicable standard
• Supplier must hold a compliance folder containing a declaration of conformity and test report, or other reasonable evidence of product conformity
• Product must be labelled

Conformity Level 3 (high risk)

• Product must comply with an applicable standard
• Supplier must hold a compliance folder containing a declaration of conformity and test report from an accredited test facility
• Product must be labelled
